From the Evening Star... A diligent dance tutor has won an esteemed accolade – 30 years after her own mentor earned the very same achievement. Emma Hawley, of the Ipswich School of Dancing, was awarded a prized Phyllis Haylor scholarship from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) after scoring near perfect marks in her degree.

For those of you who wish to enter the competitive side of the sport, the Ipswich School of Dancing runs its own dance competitions and exam sessions twice annually . We also enter several national competitions each year including NATD London Area Competitions, Brentwood Stars of the Future, Blackpool Champions of Tomorrow and Blackpool ISTD finals.
